The past 2 nights were rough! The night before last I woke up at 3:30am. No idea why, but there I lay in the dark wondering what I could do to fall asleep again and since sleep seemed to have completely left me, I wondered when it would be time to get up. So finally I got up at 4:45am. This is so not like me because I actually do like my sleep and would happily sleep in if given the chance.
Last night I just simply didn't feel all that well. And the whole night I tossed and turned, trying to get comfortable and trying to fall asleep and eventually fell asleep around 5am. No idea what was up, but this morning was rather tough. Thankfully I managed to get a bit of extra sleep after I dropped Bianca off at school, otherwise I have no idea how I would have coped today.
Tomorrow morning I have a meeting in Paraparaumu and I have to be honest, am rather nervous. It is not a bad meeting or anything. So we'll see what happens.
Seems we'll be having another fairly busy weekend. Tonight a friend from Australia might come and visit, tomorrow morning is my scary meeting, tomorrow afternoon Bianca has cheerleading practise and then on Sunday Bianca is busking with her cheerleading team somewhere. I haven't been told where yet, only what time. Then in the afternoon Terence is playing tenpin bowling with his colleagues. Something to do with Business Games or something. And then he has been invited to go and watch the Australia vs South Africa rugby match. So somewhere in between will have to try and fit in my running session.
What are your plans for the weekend?
And just because I needed a bit of a laugh today I read this old blog entry again. It is one of those blog entries that makes you laugh. A lot! So much so that your husband (or wife if you don't have a husband) will insist on knowing what you are laughing about and then when you try and read it to him, you laugh even more which makes him think there is something seriously wrong with you.
